Silken tofu is something I have grown to love living in Asia.
It can be had in both sweet and savory preparations. Today we are making one of my favorite savory preparations.
If you are looking for a super fast, easy, yet super flavorful meal, this is for you! This is so easy to make and is a great protein rich meal for anytime of the day. Did I mention there is no cooking involved??
I enjoy mine with steamed jasmine rice but serve this up anyway you like! Enjoy!
5-Minute Garlic Chili Silken Tofu
A delicious Asian-inspired plant-based dish ready in 5 minutes with zero cooking
INGREDIENTS
- 300g/11oz Organic silken tofu
- 1.5 tbsp Everiday coconut aminos
- 2 tsp toasted sesame oil
- 1 tsp Everiday garlic chili oil
- 1 tsp black vinegar
- Crushed roasted seaweed
- Chopped scallions
- 1 to tsp Everiday everything seasoning or roasted sesame seeds
INSTRUCTIONS
- Gently plate the tofu and heat if you like.
- Mix the sauce ingredients together and pour over the tofu
- Top with crushed seaweed, scallions, and everything seasoning or toasted sesame seeds
- Enjoy!
NOTES:
This dish can be had hot or cold. I prefer my slightly warm so I pop the tofu in the steamer for about 1 minute or microwave for 30 seconds.
