Bacon-Wrapped Goat Cheese Stuffed Dates
A delicious and simple appetizer
INGREDIENTS
- 24 Medjool dates, pitted by splitting lengthwise but not breaking all the way through
- Approximately 150 g/5 oz of creamy goat cheese
- 1 Tbsp fresh rosemary, chopped
- 12 slices thinly sliced bacon, cut in half lengthwise
- 3 Tbsp cup honey
- Salt to taste
INSTRUCTIONS
- Preheat the oven or air fryer to 200 ℃ or 400 ℉ and line a baking sheet/air fryer basket with parchment paper.
- Stuff the date with goat cheese, and sprinkle with 1/2 the rosemary, then gently squeeze the dates to seal.
- Wrap each date with bacon and place on the prepared baking sheet.
- Drizzle the bacon-wrapped dates with half the honey, and sprinkle the remainder of the rosemary, and a little salt to taste
- Bake 20-25 minutes, or air fry for 10-13 minutes until the bacon is crispy.
- Drizzle with remaining honey and serve immediately.
