SO SIMPLE YET SO DELICIOUS!
I don't know why, but poke bowls used to intimidate me.ย It wasn't until I tried to make one I realized just how easy it is!
If you are looking for a quick and easy meal that is macro-complete, easy to make and tastes great, it's time to start making poke bowls!
Poke bowls are a great option if entertaining for a casual lunch too!ย Just put all the choices out and let your guests assemble and dress it the way they like.
In the recipe, I shared the vegetables and fruit that I used but please feel free to get creative and use whatever you like!ย There is no wrong answer when it comes to preparing these!

Poke Bowl
My version of the classic poke bowl
INGREDIENTS
- 2 Tbsp Everiday coconut aminos
1.5 Tbsp rice vinegar
1 tsp sesame oil
1 Tbsp lemon juice - 1/2 tsp grated ginger
- 2 tsp Everiday everything seasoning or 1/2 tsp chili flakes + 1 green onion chopped +1 tsp sesame seeds
- 1.5 tsp mayonnaiseย
- 1 tsp chili sauce (I am using Everiday House Chili)

- 100 - 120g sushi grade salmon or tuna cut into 1" cubes or cooked shrimp or firm tofu for a veg option
- 1/3 cup cooked jasmine rice
- 1/4 cup edamame
- 1/4 cup diced mango or pineapple
- 1/4 cup sliced cucumber
- 1/4 cup diced avocado
- Optional to add any other veggies you like such as sliced radish, julienned carrots, cabbage, etc.
- Everiday Everything Seasoning
- seaweed flakes
- chopped spring onion
INSTRUCTIONS
NOTES:
- Mix all of your dressing ingredients
- Combine the mayonnaise and chili sauce and gently toss your protein in to lightly coat.ย
- Assemble your bowl.ย Add rice to the base and arrange your marinated protein, fruits, and veg on top of the rice.
- Add garnish of choice and serve with remainder dressing to add as desired.
